ICF polystyrene blocks

What is new in our block system is the plastic ties inside the polystyrene blocks. We added them following good practice from abroad and the wishes of Lithuanian builders. The plastic ties make each block stronger, so more courses can be filled with concrete in a day. With the new blocks it is also easy to screw bracing props firmly to the plastic strip. One more advantage: other fixtures can be screwed straight onto the blocks.

The ICF polystyrene block system is a set of interlocking parts for building A++ energy class homes and other buildings.

The blocks fit together like building bricks: the end of one block sits tight against the side of the next, and the block above locks them together. Laid this way, the wall leaves no place for a thermal bridge to form.

Corners in the ICF polystyrene system are easy to build with the corner block. It makes corners more accurate and stronger, and the whole build easier and faster.

The ICF lintel block lets you cast a strong monolithic lintel and keep the same insulation thickness as in the rest of the wall.

The slab-edge (or top) block is used where the floor slab or roof structure sits on the wall. It is a great way to keep this sensitive junction free of cold bridges.
